Which is Better For Your Business—a Mac or a PC?

To start, I need to tell you that up until 2006 I was an avid PC user. Starting with my first computer when I was five, an IBM PS2 Model 30 (without a hard drive), I’ve been loyal. I started with DOS, then Windows 3, 3.1, 95, and then XP. Then came Vista. Before Vista, I spent a lot of time rebooting but it was more or less bearable. After Vista, which is by far the worst operating system ever made, I had to find another solution.

They myth that the bailiwick of business is the Windows machine needed to be debunked. I’m thrilled that you wrote that article.

Cheers!

We are a smaller company but the results are about the same. It is all about the productivity and TCO. We are now 100% Macs and we do not use Microsoft Office anymore. iWork has replaced it totally.

Next step for you is the Snow Leopard Server that will be released not later than August. Xserve with Snow Leopard will do lots of magic. Snow Leopard server will do all that the Exchange server can and more.

We have changed this year all our servers to Xserve and the Snow Leopard Server will finalize the move. Could not be happier and it saves you tons of money because there is no license fees to pay per seat.

Check it out! You will be suprised ;)

Michael,

I have linked to your PC World article republished in MacWorld on my Twitter account. Obviously, I am a Mac lover and user, having converted from PCs about five years ago.

Do you or your company have a Twitter presence? There seems to be a fluidesign and a fluiddesign on Twitter, but neither are your company in LA. Is that by design (no pun intended)?

Thanks.

Hi,

Fluid doesn’t have a twitter account but you can follow @msfd (me), @brocksteady (Brock, Fluid’s creative director) and @mobileroadie (our Mobile Roadie division) for updates. Thanks for your comment.

Michael
